I went almost two weeks ago and the experience was great. Even if you are waiting for a room there is a public karaoke bar you can enjoy. They have a huge selection of music. We were looking for a Spanish music night and this spot delivered. Loved it!
The private room for 20 people was so cool. A/c worked well. There wasn't seating for 20ppl but it worked out, so I room was spacious and nice decor. The song selection was pretty good but think needs an update. The worker was exceptional and very helpful. He assisted us with anything needed. Since we had teenagers with us no liquor was allowed in the room which sucked but it turned out successful. We brought in pizza and cake with no problem. Ordered pitcher of sodas for about $9 each. Great fun experience.
A fun time here. Private rooms and public singing area. Lot of reverb on the tracks which can really cushion your voice. Friendly bartenders, pay per song. Worth it to get there early to get a lot of singing done. After 11 anything goes.
We came with a group to celebrate our friend's birthday. I stepped in this place, and it looked shaddy. The bouncer, he was a little aggressive. Then there was a white guy with glasses who tapped my shoulder a little too hard to pass through the entrance he was an employee. I wanted to slap him. For paying customers, you can't treat them that way.the rooms are tiny, and the air circulation sucked. I didn't like they shove like 7 ppl to a tiny room. I got anxiety. We rang the bell for the bartender, and they came quickly for our order of drinks, which was great. The microphone, at some point, died of battery. So, at some point, we were using one mic. This is a one-time visit for me. I didn't eat there so I didn't rate the food. The bill for 7 people was like 420. 420 for a small room with little to no air circulation, not worth it.
DO NOT go here as a person of color. Was with my friends and they got kicked out over some Karen calling them “trouble” after they did nothing wrong…. they were black of course. We paid in full for the room and our food and we’re not refunded, would give zero stars if I could. There are way better karaoke spots. go to those.
An awesome place right on Steinway. They have a common area or you can rent a room. Each room comes with an iPad controller or you can download the app to your phone and work it that way. Great selection of beers. Rooms come in different sizes. They need to be cleaned up better in between use, though. The floor was wet and sticky with drinks. Other than that, we had a great time would come back.
By far the best place to do karaoke in Astoria!
Go here at least once a week to sing a few songs and enjoy affordable drinks. Bartenders and security here are all very good people!
This place used to be one of my favorite places in the world the staff that work here now completely destroy everything that it was built upon
My friends and I love this spot. We recently celebrated my friend's birthday. We rented a room and we decorated the room and brought in a cake. We got drinks at the bar. This is not the 1st time we have attended. The staff is always friendly and nice. I would recommend it to anyone. If you just want to hang in the main room that's fun too!
